| How do I book a vehicle? |
| You can make a reservation by calling 01494-444192 for High Wycombe, 01628-788000 for Maidenhead or 01635-552855 for Newbury and speak to one of our Sales Team, or you may book on-line. |

| How do I make a provisional booking? |
| Once you have received your quote, you may wish to make a provisional booking with us online. A member of our Sales Team will then contact you to confirm the booking. At this stage you will be asked to provide personal details. We will also require a credit card number to confirm the booking. The card will not be charged until the hire is made. |

| How old do I need to be to rent? |
| In general for Cars & Vans you must be aged 25 or over to rent in the UK and have held a full clean driving licence for at least one year. For luxury cars and certain heavier commercial vehicles, different requirements may apply. Please check our website for further info. |

| How can I get a quote for a vehicle? |
| You can get a quick quote online by clicking Quotes and Bookings. Fill in the form and then click "Get Quote Online". Alternatively you can phone us direct. |

| What information will I need to provide to get a quote online? |
| The dates of travel and the type of vehicle you wish to hire. You may also wish to enquire about our long term rental rates. |

| Are there restrictions on what vehicles I can drive on a standard licence? |
| Yes there is. On a standard licence for which the driving test pass date is after 01/01/1997 you cannot drive more than an 8 seater and over 35 CWT vehicle, unless you have passed a test covering these vehicles. |

| Can I leave the car at my destination? |
| Yes you can. But this must be authorised with Budget Rent A Car before start of rental and is available on certain Cars only, for an additional fee. |

| Do you deliver & collect vehicle? |
| Yes we do, for a small fee please contact us to discuss further. |

| How far in advance can I book a vehicle? |
| Please give us as much notice as possible, although we have readily available vehicles at all times. |

| What documents do I need to hire? |
| You need to bring your driving licence, most importantly if you hold the new Photo Card driving licence, please remember to bring the counter part as without this you will be refused hire. For additional I.D utility bills for proof of residence, and another item to proof signature. |

| Do you allow vehicles to go abroad? |
| Yes we do. For European hires, you must notify us of your journey plans well in advance so we may arrange suitable cover for you. Special rates and cover will apply. |

| Do you have an out of hours drop of facilty ? |
| No we do not. All vehicles must be returned during normal office hours as found on our "Contact Us" page. |

| Can customers leave their own vehicles at our site during vehicle hire period ? |
| Unfortunately this facility is not available. There is limited space at our sites. Any vehicle left in the surrounding proximity of our site is entirely at the owners risk. |

| Can I hire on my own insurance? |
| Normally this applies to companies that hire from us with pre arranged consent. A private individual cannot normally hire a vehicle in this manner. Please talk to one of our representatives for further details. |

| May I open an account with Berkshire Van Hire? |
| Yes, you will need to complete a Credit Application Form, once approved you will be able to hire vehicles on your own Credit Account. |
